Who i am

My name is Jonathan Romero, and my journey as a filmmaker began the day I was handed a camera as a child. What started as simple experiments with images and movement grew into a lifelong pursuit of stories that provoke curiosity, sustain tension, and reward audiences with the unexpected.

I went on to study at Arizona State University’s Sidney Poitier New American Film School, where I immersed myself in every aspect of the craft—from writing and directing to producing and editing. That education gave me both the technical foundation and the creative discipline to pursue my vision with precision.

For me, cinema is more than storytelling—it’s the architecture of experience. I strive to construct films that are meticulously designed yet alive with unpredictability, works that stay with audiences long after the final frame fades.
